Job summary

PHIL FITTS FORD in New Castle, PA is seeking a Ford Certified Collision Technician with dealership experience to join our growing team. You will repair damaged parts, communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts, and document all repairs performed.

This position uses a flat rate pay structure and pays commensurate with experience. The Ford dealership offers health, dental, 401K, paid time off, growth opportunities, and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Ford certification and dealership experience preferred
• Past dealership experience required
• ASE certification is a plus and vocational background beneficial

Responsibilities

• Determine and repair damaged parts
• Communicate status of repairs to body shop manager
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
• Document all repairs performed
• Document all materials used
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as disposal of hazardous waste

The day-to-day duties of this role include repairing damaged parts, communicating with the parts department to obtain necessary parts, and documenting all repairs performed. This position is a flat rate pay structure. Pay commiserate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
• Document all repairs performed
• Document all materials used
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste

Qualifications

• Ford Certified
• Previous experience in a Ford dealership is a plus
• ASE Certification is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Past dealership experience required
• Past collision center experience is required as well
• Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required
• Able to work in fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Clean driving record & valid driver's license
