Job summary

Parks Chevrolet Charlotte is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves disassembly for damage assessment, welding and panel repair, parts inventory, and ensuring systems function after reassembly.

The ideal candidate has 2-5+ years in collision repair, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver license. Day shift, full-time position with a strong safety and quality focus at our auto body shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license.
• 2-5+ years of collision repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend/collaborate with team during production meetings.
• Complete dis-assembly of vehicle to assist Repair Planner with assessing all damage prior to repairs.
• Store parts on carts and prevent potential damage.
• Perform welding, panel repair, adhesive repairs, panel alignment, and corrosion protection operations as outlined by OEM procedures.
• Repair automotive damage as the repair plan dictates.
• Operate & maintain all equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner.
• Assure quality of fit and finish prior to paint work.
• Inventory all parts prior to the refinish stage.
• Perform reassembly process and verify vehicle systems are functioning properly.
• Participate with I-CAR and Company Safety Training
