Caliber is seeking an experienced auto body technician to join our Birmingham area shop. You will repair collisions from minor to major, focusing on frame and structural corrections to factory specifications.

You will collaborate with painters, estimators, and front-office staff to deliver high-quality restorations. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and a proactive, team-first approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two+ years turning wrecks into road-ready rides.
• Frame and structural know-how: pull, straighten, square to factory specs.
• No-shortcuts mentality: blueprint it and fix it right the first time.
• Attention to detail: tighten bolts, welds, and fit.
• Physically capable to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team-oriented: collaborate with painters, estimators, and front office staff.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint and execute repairs with precision and no shortcuts.
• Handle full collision repair from minor to major impacts.
• Perform panel and structural work to factory specs.
• Ensure quality reassembly with proper fit and finish.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to move vehicles efficiently.
