Job summary

Wright Automotive Group is seeking a skilled technician for our Collision Center/Body Shop. The role involves restoring vehicles to original, safe condition after collisions, deciding on repairs or replacements with safety, cost, and cycle time in mind, and performing quality repairs promptly.

The ideal candidate has prior collision center/body shop experience, is willing to undergo background and driving checks, and will bring their own tools.

• Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop is REQUIRED
• Must have tools

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer needs are met with quality and efficiency
• Responsible for restoring a vehicle back to its original and operational condition after a collision
• Make decisions on repairing or replacing pieces while taking into consideration safety, cost and cycle time.
• Perform quality repairs in timely manner.
• Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect departmental operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience and working knowledge of body repair and insurance processes
• Must be willing to submit to a background & driving screen prior to employment
• Must have tools
