Job summary

Wright Automotive Group is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to restore damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. You will assess damage, plan repairs, and decide on repair or replacement parts with emphasis on safety and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include performing quality repairs, coordinating with team members on status, and ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations. Candidates must have body shop experience and their own tools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop required.
• Experience with body repair and insurance processes.
• Must be willing to pass background and driving screening.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Restore a vehicle to its original and operational condition after a collision.
• Assess damage and plan repair process.
• Decide on repairing or replacing parts considering safety, cost and cycle time.
• Perform quality repairs in a timely manner.
• Work and communicate with teammates on repair status.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations (hazardous waste, OSHA, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure customer needs are met with quality and efficiency
• Responsible for restoring a vehicle back to its original and operational condition after a collision
• Make decisions on repairing or replacing pieces while taking into consideration safety, cost and cycle time.
• Perform quality repairs in timely manner.
• Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect departmental operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop is REQUIRED
• Previous experience and working knowledge of body repair and insurance processes
• Must be willing to submit to a background & driving screen prior to employment
• Must have tools
