Summit Truck Bodies, LLC, a quality manufacturer of custom designed service and lube truck bodies, is expanding its workforce due to increasing sales. The Collision Repair and Refinish Technician position will prepare the body and components for painting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.
• Experience in paint, collision repair and/or related field.
• Some technical training is helpful.
• Ability to read gauges, blueprints and work orders.
• Careful attention to detail and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying work orders, BOMs and blueprints.
• Sand, mask and prep bodies/parts before paintwork.
• Apply bondo/seam sealer and prep for finishing and sanding.
• Wet sand and polish custom-colored bodies and doors.
• Dispose of hazardous waste per laws.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement and show initiative.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
