Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Production Assistant to support the GM by ensuring parts and materials are available for repairs and by tracking progress in daily huddles. You will help move vehicles through disassembly, production staging, and final output, ensuring parts arrive on time and plans stay on track.

The role requires basic knowledge of the repair process, a service orientation, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of the repair process.
• Service orientation and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a busy shop.

Responsibilities

• Ensures materials and parts are available for technicians and kept up to date.
• Oversees vehicle movement and production flow across departments.
• Communicates changes to repair plans and keeps dashboards current.
• Coordinates sublet work and ensures timely completion.
• Maintains equipment readiness and housekeeping in the collision center.
