Job summary

VIVE Collision in North Haven, CT is seeking an experienced Auto Body Parts Coordinator to oversee procurement, receiving, organization, and management of collision repair parts. You will ensure the right parts are available to keep production on track and maximize profitability.

The role collaborates with estimators, technicians, production managers, and vendors, performs mirror matching, maintains inventory accuracy, and drives KPIs such as cycle time and returns.

Qualifications

• Experience in collision repair parts and body shop operations.
• Ability to verify parts against estimates and orders.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Order parts from approved vendors and dealerships based on repair estimates and orders.
• Monitor parts availability and communicate delivery schedules and delays.
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming parts for accuracy and quality.
• Perform mirror matching of parts to repair orders before repairs begin.
• Identify damaged or missing parts and coordinate returns or replacements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update parts status in the shop system.
• Track all parts deliveries to keep production on schedule.
• Build relationships with vendors and dealers for timely, quality service.
• Collaborate with GM, estimators, producers, and technicians on part issues.
• Monitor KPIs like parts cycle time, inventory accuracy, and returns.
• Keep the parts department organized and compliant with procedures.
• Coordinate parts pickup/delivery as needed.
• Perform other duties to support shop operations.
