VIVE Collision in North Haven, CT is seeking an Auto Body Parts Coordinator to oversee procurement, receiving, and organization of collision repair parts. The role ensures on-time parts availability to support production, minimize delays, and maximize profitability, working with estimators, technicians, and vendors.

The position involves accuracy in receiving and identifying parts, managing inventory, and coordinating with the shop team to keep repairs moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in collision repair parts department
• Leadership or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, collision repair processes, and OEM repair procedures
• Experience with CCC ONE estimating and management software is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, inventory, and purchasing processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet production deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand repair estimates, work orders, parts documentation, and technical information

Responsabilités

• Order parts from approved vendors and dealerships based on repair estimates, blueprints, and supplements
• Monitor parts availability and communicate delivery schedules, back orders, and delays to estimators and production staff
• Receive, inspect, verify, and document all incoming parts to ensure accuracy
• Perform mirror matching of parts to repair orders before repairs begin to verify proper fit
• Identify damaged, incorrect, or missing parts and coordinate returns, replacements, and vendor credits
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update parts status within the shop management system
• Track and monitor all parts deliveries to ensure production schedules remain on target
• Collaborate with management and technicians to resolve part-related issues that could impact repair timelines
• Monitor and drive parts-related KPIs, including parts cycle time, gross profit, inventory accuracy
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient parts department and proper storage
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OEM repair procedures, and safety standards
• Coach and support Parts Clerks as applicable
• Drive to pick up, transport, and deliver parts between vendors and the facility when needed
• Perform additional duties to support shop operations
