Job summary

Motocruit is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator for our client in New Jersey. You will assess collision damage, prepare accurate repair estimates with computerized software, and coordinate with insurers and customers to ensure repairs meet high standards.

Requirements include at least 2 years of collision estimating experience, strong communication, and the ability to read manuals and schematics. ASE/I-CAR certifications are a plus. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a collision estimator.
• Thorough understanding of collision repair processes and insurance guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent customer service and communication with customers and insurance adjusters.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail; multitasking capability.
• Proficiency in computerized estimating software.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and conduct a thorough inspection to identify all collision damage.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates using computerized estimating software per insurance guidelines.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters to secure timely approvals.
• Order parts and schedule repairs to meet timelines and budget.
• Keep customers informed and address questions or concerns throughout repairs.
• Perform quality checks on repairs, including fit, paint color match, and functionality.
• Review repair orders for accurate documentation and maintain organized workspace.
• Follow safety procedures and dispose of hazardous materials properly.
