Job summary

ABRA Auto Body in Faribault, MN is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator to join our newly renovated shop. You will create precise estimates, educate customers on repair steps, insurance, and timelines, and collaborate with insurers and partners to ensure quality and efficiency.

We seek a detail-oriented communicator who can follow our playbook, maintain trust, and uphold our craftsmanship standards across all repairs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior experience as a collision estimator or insurance appraiser.
• Damage analysis experience related to hybrid vehicles, restraint systems, electrical systems, and identifying hail/theft/vandalism damage.
• Proficiency using Mitchell or CCC-1 estimating software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• I-CAR training or other industry training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate, comprehensive repair estimates by examining and analyzing vehicle damage.
• Clearly educate customers on the repair process, insurance claims, timelines, and expectations.
• Follow the ABRA playbook to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters, dealerships, fleet partners, and internal production teams.
• Provide timely repair status updates—because communication and trust matter.
• Ensure every repair meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
