Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator to create accurate vehicle repair estimates and coordinate repair needs with customers and insurance companies. You will document communications and ensure all details are captured for a smooth repair process.

The role requires knowledge of OE guidelines, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of estimating experience, with I-CAR training preferred. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in collision repair estimating.
  • I-CAR training or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

  • Document every customer interaction with pertinent details and update records.
  • Provide accurate, timely information to customers and insurers through the repair process.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and DRP procedures.
  • Participate in daily production walks with the management team and monthly health & safety meetings.
  • Support team members and stay aligned with the facility's KPIs.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
