Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator to provide an exceptional customer experience by creating accurate repair estimates, coordinating repairs with customers and insurers, and guiding the process from intake to delivery. You will document interactions and ensure timely information flow to all parties involved.

This role emphasizes clear communication with insurance providers, adherence to DRP requirements and OE guidelines, and strong teamwork to achieve shop KPIs while supporting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related role.
• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Document and update every customer interaction with pertinent details.
• Provide accurate, timely information guiding customers through repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and DRP metrics.
• Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team.
• Support team members and attend health & safety meetings.
• Assist with communication to insurance companies and customers.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
