Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator to create accurate damage appraisals, coordinate repair needs, and communicate with customers and insurance companies throughout the process. The role centers on delivering an exceptional customer experience and achieving the repair facility KPIs.

The candidate should have knowledge of OE guidelines, DRP compliance, and be willing to complete I-CAR training. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with DRP processes and insurance requirements.
  • Ability to complete I-CAR training.

Responsibilities

  • Document and update customer interactions with pertinent details.
  • Provide accurate, timely information guiding customers through the repair process.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance programs, processes and metrics.
  • Participate in daily production walks with the management team.
  • Maintain store KPIs and support team members as required.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
