Job summary

Norm Reeves Honda Irvine is seeking an experienced Collision Center Production Manager to oversee the daily flow of vehicles through the repair process. You will coordinate teams across body, paint, mechanical, and QA to keep repairs moving on schedule.

You will monitor WIP, run daily production meetings, and work with estimators to plan teardown and repair activities, ensuring high quality and timely delivery in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous collision repair or automotive body shop experience required.
• Previous production management, shop foreman, team lead, estimator, or similar leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the collision repair process from teardown through final delivery.
• Knowledge of body repair, refinish operations, parts, supplements, estimating, and quality control.
• Understanding of OEM repair procedures and modern vehicle repair requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vehicles and production priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily production flow of all vehicles in the collision center.
• Monitor Work in Process (WIP) and ensure vehicles progress through stages.
• Conduct daily production meetings and establish repair priorities.
• Coordinate work assignments with body technicians and paint department personnel.
• Work with estimators and technicians during teardown and planning.
• Identify stalled vehicles and resolve bottlenecks promptly.
• Monitor parts, insurance approvals, sublet repairs, calibrations, and completion dates.
• Ensure supplemental parts and repair requirements are identified early.
• Maintain realistic target completion dates.
