Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, automotive management, or related field.
• Proven experience leading a collision center or automotive service department.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety, and insurance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a plan to increase repair volume, capacity, sales, and gross profit.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong collision team.
• Build relationships with insurance carriers, fleets, dealerships, towing partners, and referral sources.
• Maintain visibility over every vehicle in the repair process and monitor progress.
• Conduct structured production meetings and identify delays before commitments are missed.
• Improve estimating, blueprinting, parts coordination, scheduling, and production flow.
• Ensure OEM repair procedures and safe repair standards are followed.
• Maintain the integrity of repair orders, estimates, supplements, approvals, labor, parts, sublet invoices, and final billing.
• Review open repair orders and receivables; manage department sales and capacity.
• Establish quality-control standards and reduce rework, delays, and customer complaints.
