Job summary

BMW of Riverside is seeking a Receptionist for our Collision Center who greets customers, routes calls, and supports front desk operations with professionalism.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, prior collision center or automotive dealership experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual is a plus; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have collision center experience.
• Automotive dealership experience a plus.
• Previous retail and/or customer service experience.
• Friendly with high energy and willingness to go above and beyond.
• Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers that enter our Collision Center in a professional courteous manner.
• Answer all incoming calls according to company policies with exceptional telephone skills.
• Direct phone calls to the appropriate parties as necessary.
• Take written messages for occupied personnel and notify them of pending messages.
• Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel.
• Addresses customer concerns and issues or escalates them as needed.
• Helps with clerical/office tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records and answering phones.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information at all times.
• Answer Collision Center department telephone calls to the people requested and best suited to take the call.
• Assist the service staff in contacting customers to inform them that their vehicles have been completed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
