Job summary

Abra Auto Body & Glass is seeking an experienced Collision Center Estimator to join our team in Sioux Falls. This role involves managing estimates and communicating with customers and insurance companies.

We offer a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends, and a benefits package including health and dental insurance. Competitive earning potential between $65,000 and $100,000+ is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and identify structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage.
• Prepare accurate estimates for labor, parts, repairs, and replacement.
• Work with insurance companies and prepare required estimates, documentation, and repair recommendations.
• Communicate repair timelines, updates, changes, and delays with customers.
• Perform quality-control inspections following completed repairs.

Abra Auto Body & Glass is looking for an experienced Collision Center Estimator / Auto Body Estimator to join our team. We’re seeking someone who understands the collision repair process, communicates well with customers and insurance companies, and can accurately manage estimates from initial inspection through completed repair.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect damaged vehicles and identify structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage
• Prepare accurate estimates for labor, parts, repairs, and replacement
• Work with insurance companies and prepare required estimates, documentation, and repair recommendations
• Review repair estimates and repair plans with Collision Center management
• Communicate repair timelines, updates, changes, and delays with customers
• Coordinate parts availability and help keep repairs moving efficiently
• Verify insurance payments, rental authorizations, and customer balances before vehicle delivery
• Perform quality-control inspections following completed repairs
• Complete and close repair orders while maintaining accurate documentation
• Help ensure every customer receives a professional and positive collision repair experience

What We’re Looking For

• Previous collision estimating or auto body industry experience preferred
• Experience with CCC ONE and Mitchell collision estimating software
• Strong understanding of collision repair procedures and estimating
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple repairs and priorities
• Professional, dependable, and solution-focused
• Comfortable learning and using collision estimating, management, and vehicle information software
• Valid driver’s license
