Job summary

Quality Collision Group LLC is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair collision-damaged vehicles per OEM procedures and repair plans. The role involves structural and non-structural work, component replacement, welding, and quality checks to meet production targets.

You will evaluate damage, propose repair vs. replace decisions, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while collaborating with estimators and the production team. Opportunities for growth exist through ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional auto body repair experience in collision repair.
  • Strong knowledge of OEM repair procedures and manufacturer-specific requirements.
  • Experience with I-CAR standards and collision repair methods.
  • Ability to read and follow repair plans and OEM procedures.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect damaged vehicles and review the approved repair plan before beginning work.
  • Perform structural and non-structural body repairs in accordance with OEM procedures.
  • Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall damaged vehicle components and body panels.
  • Make appropriate repair-versus-replace recommendations based on safety, quality, and repair procedures.
  • Perform measuring, pulling, welding, metal repair, panel alignment, and related body operations as qualified.
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and on-time production expectations.
  • Communicate additional damage or repair concerns to the estimator or production team.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, PPE, and a safe and organized work area.

Job Summary The Auto Body Technician repairs collision-damaged vehicles and restores them to pre-accident condition using OEM repair procedures, industry standards, and approved repair plans. This role performs structural and non-structural repairs, component replacement, fit and finish work, and quality checks while meeting production expectations. The technician is responsible for completing safe, accurate, and timely repairs that support customer satisfaction and repair quality.

  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required to safely operate collision repair equipment.
