Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an Auto Body Technician to contribute to high-quality vehicle repairs in a team-driven shop in Crestwood, KY. You will disassemble, assess, and repair damaged areas, using welding and finishing tools to ensure precise fits and safe, roadworthy results.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of collision repair experience, with I-CAR/ASE certifications preferred and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications are preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Driver's License.
• Background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle as needed to support Estimators in creating a 100% Repair Plan.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures following the work order.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, torch, etc.).
• Repair or replace damaged parts and weld as needed.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality standards.
• Comply with safety procedures and company SOPs.
