Job summary

Pomona College in Claremont, CA, is seeking an Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field – Pole Vault to support the head and associate coaches in developing a nationally competitive Division III program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for off-site meetings and events.
• Minimum 2 years of coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level.

Responsibilities

• Assist with practice plans and pole vault instruction.
• Develop competition-day strategies and scouting reports.
• Recruit potential student-athletes.
• Assist with home meet hosting duties and event operations.
• Support camp and clinic activities.
• Oversee equipment management and team communications.
