Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; two years of collegiate or club coaching experience.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• First aid, CPR and AED certification (or pass testing within one month of date of hire).
• Meet the appropriate credentialing requirements for the SACS for instructors/coaches.
• Knowledge of NJCAA governing rules.
• Knowledge of softball, recruiting athletes, conditioning, and teaching of related curriculum.
• Skill in Microsoft Office and Windows based applications.
• Skill in organizing, leading others, efficiently using resources, and prioritizing.
• Ability to work with elite collegiate student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Assists with development and implementation of training for athletes on a yearly basis including conditioning and technical aspects of softball.
• Assists with recruitment of athletes via calls, written communications, and visits.
• Assists with coordination and running of summer camp programs for local community members.
• Assists with game day management for each contest.
• Supports student success, retention and completion.
• Works fluctuating hours as needed.
• Drives as assigned.
• Completes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
