Job summary

ISHE seeks an engaging coordinator to work with high school students and their families in the Phoenix area, guiding them through STEP's College Prep and Leadership Program. You will organize workshops, advise students through the college application journey, and outreach to schools and counselors.

The role requires strong communication, Spanish fluency, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Travel between Phoenix and Tucson is expected, with some weekend/evening duties and a home-office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching, counseling, or mentoring students.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Efficient, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Organize and co-lead STEP's monthly college-prep workshops.
• Advise students through the college process from sophomore to senior year.
• Outreach to high-school students and counselors; educate parents on financial aid.
• Develop resources for students and alumni; support program growth and sustainability.
• Represent STEP at events in Phoenix and Tucson.
