Job summary

American Heritage Schools seeks a College Advisor to support students through college planning, admissions, and transition from high school to higher education. The role includes creating educational plans, coordinating timelines, and guiding families through applications and scholarships.

You will engage with students and parents, run FAFSA and financial aid preparations, and collaborate with staff to align academic planning with college opportunities across Broward and Palm Beach campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required/preferred in a relevant field.
• Experience in college advising, planning, and/or admissions preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Help students develop educational plans and four-year college timelines.
• Meet students and parents to discuss goals and progress.
• Coordinate college search, applications, and FAFSA processes.
• Provide guidance on test prep, essays, and recommendation letters.
• Maintain relationships with colleges and attend college events.
