Job summary

Northeast Arc is seeking a dedicated College Navigator to provide 1:1 support to adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders as they transition into and navigate college life in Lawrence, MA. This per diem role within the Guided Personal Support (GPS) Program focuses on developing independence, social-emotional skills, and achieving personal goals in a college setting and broader community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Mental Health diagnoses is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and team-building skills are essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines for reports and progress notes.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle for transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized clinical oversight of caseload to foster community inclusion and independence.
• Assist individuals in interpreting and responding to social cues.
• Teach skills and behaviors aligned with individual plans and goals.
• Participate in ISPs and progress meetings to support goal selection.
• Collaborate with providers, families, and individuals served as appropriate.
• Submit weekly documentation on goal progress and maintain outreach logs.
