ArtiFlex Manufacturing in Wooster, OH is offering a paid College Intern/Engineering Co-op role. The student will rotate through engineering disciplines, supporting prototyping, design, and shop floor activities.

You will work with engineers, learn CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and gain hands-on experience on projects while adhering to safety programs. This is a great chance to apply classroom knowledge in real-world manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited college program.
  • Intro to AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of physical tasks and use PPE on shop floor.

General Description

The Engineering Co-op student will perform duties per rotational departmental assignment. The Co-Op student reports to the Engineering Manager. Intern/Co-op students regularly work with ArtiFlex employees, department leaders, and customers.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of physical tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and required to wear while on the shop floor.
