Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber is offering a Mechanical Engineering Internship/Co‑Op in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves working with the mechanical department and coordinating with in‑house electrical, structural, civil, and architectural teams on diverse project types.

You will contribute to design tasks for fire protection, plumbing, and HVAC systems while developing skills in Revit and AutoCAD. Travel to project sites is expected and hands‑on experience will build a strong career

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Solid understanding of Revit; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.

Mechanical Engineering Internship / Co‑Op

Location

Job Summary

Candidate would work as an integral part of the mechanical department, collaborating with in‑house electrical, structural, civil and architectural departments on a wide variety of projects. Co‑ops are immediately integrated with design teams on project types ranging from higher education, health care to industrial and municipal projects. Candidates should have a solid understanding of Revit with AutoCAD knowledge a plus. Co‑ops will assist with project design of fire protection, plumbing, and HVAC systems, establishing equipment selection, piping, and ductwork design skills. Prepare to be challenged and finish your internship with immeasurable experience and a foundation for a fulfilling career.

Minimum Physical Requirements

Occasionally exposed to light lifting, sitting, and walking. Perform duties in the field, access and maneuver around project sites, and use a computer. Travel to and from projects is required. Use equipment for communication and documentation purposes. Visual acuity is necessary to perform responsibilities.
