Northern Kentucky University is seeking a College Business Officer to lead strategic planning and budget stewardship for the College of Health and Human Services. This role reports to the Dean and oversees fiscal planning, policy administration, and staff management across a large faculty and staff base.

The position requires strong budgeting skills, attention to accreditation-related expenses, and collaboration with multiple offices to ensure compliant fiscal practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience required.
• Budgetary and accounting experience required.
• Excellent managerial and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office.
• Experience with Workday preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee College of Health and Human Services budget allocation and day-to-day admin functions.
• Assess annual accreditation expenses and oversee revenue streams.
• Administer annual budget preparation for the College.
• General analysis, review, training, and planning of budgets.
• Develop budget-related presentation materials for the college.
• Collaborate with Budget Office and Dean on budgeting.
• Coordinate with directors and unit staff on their budgets.
• Organize and lead regular meetings and training for unit coordinators.
• Work with Procurement and other departments to ensure fiscal compliance.
• Manage day-to-day personnel administration within the College.
• Act as liaison between the college and campus offices.
• Oversee hiring processes for faculty and staff in the college, including onboarding in Workday.
• Communicate budgets and hiring with the Provost's Office.
