University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College is seeking a tutor for the TRIO SSS- South program to support student writing, reading, and study skills. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, math or related field; Master's preferred.
• Two or more years teaching at the college level preferred.
• Experience developing curriculum preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to use basic computer programs in a college setting.

Responsibilities

• Possess the ability to work well with students
• Tutor in English composition I and II and Literature
• Provide personalized attention in writing, grammar, citations, and referencing
• Assist with topics using time management, goal setting, learning styles, Blackboard, Library resources
• Assist and conduct class pre- and post-assessments
• Maintain tutor lab cleanliness to meet CDC guidelines
• Document students' progress and attendance
• Contact supervisor if unable to work
• Perform other duties as requested
