Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking a Full-Time English Instructor to teach General Education English and Humanities courses at its campus just south of Downtown Atlanta. Under the Dean of Academic Affairs, you will select and assess student outcomes and promote effective learning, liaising with business and public sectors to foster opportunities.

The role requires a Master’s in English with 18 graduate hours, 1+ year of related experience, and familiarity with Banner and Blackboard.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in English with 18 graduate hours in English
• 1+ year of related work experience
• Experience with Banner student information system
• Experience with Blackboard LMS
• Ability to work evening/weekend hours
• May be required to work at other locations

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates use of testing and grading procedures and maintains grade books
• Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills
• Follows approved course syllabi and reports
• Advises and counsels students and maintains advisement records
• Maintains classrooms and labs per safety guidelines
• Supports student recruitment and job placement
• Attends meetings and enforces institutional policies
• Maintains employment qualifications per policy manuals
