Job summary

Freire Charter Wilmington is seeking a College Counselor to support high school students in college and career exploration, academics, and social-emotional growth. You’ll connect students with academic and personal supports to help them prepare for postsecondary success.

The role emphasizes equity and student-centered guidance; requires School Counseling or School Social Work Certification (DE) and experience with Naviance/College Board; part-time 15-20 hours weekly, salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Certification in School Counseling or School Social Work (DE).

Responsibilities

What you'll do

You’ll do whatever it takes to help our students navigate college and career exploration, academics, and social-emotional growth. Our College Counselor and School Social Worker connects students with the academic, college-readiness, and personal support they need to graduate ready for what's next.

Pay and benefits

We offer a competitive salary based on your experience and qualifications. This is a part time position (15-20 hours per week) and is not benefits eligible.
