Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles is seeking a College & Career Coordinator to plan, implement, and supervise programs that help teens achieve higher education and career goals. You will manage case managers, coordinate with schools, and partner with community organizations to expand program offerings.

Based at Watts/Willowbrook after-school hours, you will work with schools to deliver A-G counseling, SAT prep, and college visits, while tracking outcomes and reporting to the Director of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but candidates currently enrolled in a college or university will also be considered.
• Minimum of 1–2 years in youth development, college access, or career readiness programs required.
• Experience in case management, data tracking, and program evaluation preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle driving record check.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Must obtain/maintain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Pass TB test.

Responsibilities

• Implement College & Career programs and services aligned with organizational strategy.
• Provide individualized college and career coaching and goal planning.
• Develop activities introducing members to college and career readiness, tutoring, and post-high school planning.
• Lead workshops and university visits, guest speaker sessions, and career exploration events.
• Collaborate with schools and community partners, organize job fairs and internships.
• Supervise case managers and support data tracking and program evaluation.
• Maintain relationships with school administrators and partners, ensuring alignment with goals.
