Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson is seeking a College Programs coordinator to plan, implement, supervise and evaluate college‑related activities at the club site. You will work with youth, provide tutoring, workshops, and guidance to help students prepare for higher education.

Responsibilities include promoting participation, coordinating projects, managing schedules, ensuring safety, and collaborating with the College & Career Coordinator.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; two years of college experience preferred.
• Knowledge of youth development and ability to guide youth.
• CPR and First Aid certifications and TB clearance.
• Valid California Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, supervise and evaluate College Programs at the Club Site.
• Promote and stimulate program participation; register new members and support orientation.
• Provide direct services through group workshops and tutoring; manage supplies and activities.
• Coordinate special projects and events to raise college awareness; prepare schedules and reports.
• Maintain safety and orderly environment; supervise members and enforce rules.
• Collaborate with College & Career Coordinator and other staff to provide updated resources.
