ESC 14 is seeking a College Career Navigator to implement and oversee CCMR initiatives for high school students in Hamlin, TX. The role focuses on college, career, and military readiness, aligning activities with HB 3 requirements and grant objectives.

The Navigator will build partnerships with local businesses, higher education institutions, and community organizations to expand work-based learning, internships, and dual credit opportunities, guiding students toward credentials and degrees

Formación

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate, school counselor certificate or other relevant professional certification.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implement the Pathways to College Readiness Initiative with fidelity.
• Develop and manage detailed implementation plans and calendars.
• Coordinate campus-level CCMR implementation for equitable access.
• Identify challenges and communicate adjustments to district leadership.
• Coordinate college awareness activities starting in Grade 9.
• Embed CCMR activities with campus counselors and admins.
• Monitor participation to ensure inclusion of first‑gen and underserved students.
• Oversee tutoring and college readiness supports and guidance.
• Supervise tutoring staff to align with program goals.
• Coordinate assessments, boot camps, and interventions.
• Provide data-informed recommendations for CCMR improvement.
• Coordinate teacher graduate coursework and dual credit initiatives.
• Track credentialing progress and sustainability milestones.
