Job description

Under the direct and general supervision of the Deputy Director of Ferry Engineering, the College Aide will perform mechanical and marine engineering duties in support of the Staten Island Ferry Maintenance Unit. Selected candidates will gain experience in activities related to the construction, maintenance, and reconstruction of vessels and their mechanical systems, including ferries, barges, and other floating vessels.
