Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Ferry Engineering, the College Aide will support Staten Island Ferry Maintenance Unit with mechanical and marine engineering duties. This role offers direct experience in activities related to the construction, maintenance, and reconstruction of vessels and their mechanical systems, including ferries, barges, and floating vessels.
Responsibilities include:
Preference will be given to candidates with strong quantitative, analytical, technical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:
Maximum tenure is 6 years. Students may work full-time during vacations but not more than half-time during sessions.
