Job summary

Texas A&M University-San Antonio is seeking a College Access Advisor (Harlandale) to support high school students with transitions to postsecondary education, military service, or the workforce. The role partners with ISD staff to provide college and career advising, coordinate events, and support K-8 outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to learn technology software programs such as Banner and Idealogic.
• Experience in presenting and public speaking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide college admissions and financial‑aid guidance to students and families.
• Encourage a broad range of college and career options.
• Develop a college timeline and assist with applications, scholarships, and financial aid documents.
