Job summary

CAMBA in New York City is seeking a College Bound Instructor to support students with college access, FAFSA applications, and admissions guidance, coordinating with SUNY Buffalo State and SUNY Delhi programs.

This full-time role (35 hours/week) requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of youth experience; salary is $60,000 with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, retirement, paid time off, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
• Two years of applicable experience working with youth.
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Track attendance and contact absent students daily.
• Counsel students through meetings, calls, or home visits.
• Develop post-secondary work plans for enrolled students.
• Create and maintain college access information and resources.
• Assist with SUNY Buffalo State and SUNY Delhi courses.
• Prepare reports for CAMBA management and funders.
