Job summary

CAMBA Inc. seeks a College Bound Instructor to support high school students’ college access across CAMBA locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan. You will track progress, counsel students, and help them navigate the college process.

You will coordinate with SUNY Buffalo State and SUNY Delhi classes, prepare postsecondary plans, and support families during admissions and financial aid steps. This full-time role offers opportunities to impact youth trajectories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
• Two years applicable experience working with youth.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel; MS Office literacy.

Responsibilities

• Track student attendance and contact absent students daily.
• Counsel students through meetings, by phone or home visits.
• Help students set post‑secondary goals and create college plans.
• Coordinate and document progress in CAMBA’s Client Track system.
• Assist with FAFSA, admissions, enrollment and financial aid processes.
