Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist in North Carolina to join a dynamic team. The role focuses on high-volume collections, vendor management, and core accounting tasks, with emphasis on accuracy and timely payments.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, be detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Monday–Friday, first shift, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in collections or a similar accounting role is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Researching invoices and discrepancies to ensure accurate billing and resolve issues promptly.
• Managing vendor relationships to maintain clear and effective communication channels.
• Handling high volume collections with professionalism and persistence to ensure timely payments.
• Performing various other accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the company.
• Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Maintaining accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
