e3 Diagnostics is seeking a Collections Supervisor to join our team in the regional office in Arlington Heights IL/Soon to be Itasca IL in 2027. The Collections Supervisor will be responsible for developing methods to manage and collect outstanding receivables. The Supervisor will oversee and assist collections specialists in the performance of their job duties such as collecting on past due accounts and collaborating with customers to resolve any collections disputes.
Compensation
$65-75K depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of collections specialists, providing guidance and training.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff members.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the collections team.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Manage discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare reports on collections activities for review by the Controller.
- Collaborate with other teams (e.g. Customer Service, Accounts Receivable/Cash App) to resolve complex account issues.
- Reduce overall past due account balances for corporate/national accounts.
- Perform reconciliation of payments and customer accounts and communicate discrepancies to management team, identify slow-paying customers, and identify collection candidates.
- Become expert in our OneDiagnostic computer system (Navision) while responding to customers and field sales teams.
- Provide excellent customer service with face-to-face, verbal, and written communication while working in a collaborative and team environment.
- Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.
- Support other accounting and finance team members with credit rebills.
- Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting and comply with national and local financial requirements.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in a related field; and five years of experience in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least two years’ experience in a management or supervisory role.
- Field credentials or certification preferred.
Travel
- This position is subject to travel up to 25% of the time.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
