Hyundai Capital America is seeking a Collections Associate to manage delinquent accounts using an automated dialer, negotiating payment arrangements while complying with policies. The role emphasizes customer service and cross-functional collaboration within the Operations Division to deliver a seamless experience.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years collections experience, high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), and strong negotiation skills; Windows Word/Excel knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years collection or relevant experience
• Education in lieu of experience
• High school graduate; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Basic computer skills - Windows including Word and Excel
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to deescalate situations
• Strong problem solving and soft skills for account issues

Responsibilities

• Work delinquent accounts via automated dialer, inbound or outbound, to negotiate payment arrangements
• Document all actions in system of record
• Service accounts by submitting requests and updating contact details
• Participate in coaching and training to improve performance
• All other duties as assigned
