Job summary

Hanscom Federal Credit Union is seeking a dynamic Collector to join our hybrid team. You will review delinquent accounts, contact members, and coordinate payment arrangements while upholding our member-first service standard.

The role requires 1–3 years in financial services or collections; a high school diploma is required. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel/Word) and strong communication skills are essential. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year up to 3 years of experience in financial services, lending, loan servicing, or collections; direct credit union collections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews delinquent loans and accounts; prioritizes workload and initiates collection activity.
• Places restrictions on lines of credit and accounts within delegated authority; documents activity.
• Evaluates payment arrangements, loan modifications, or workout options in line with policy.
• Engages members to establish reasonable and sustainable payments; maintains accurate records.
• Maintains privacy and compliance with applicable laws and internal controls.
