Job summary

VCCU is seeking a Collections Officer 2 to manage delinquent accounts, primarily 60 to 100 days past due, through contact, skip-tracing, and resolution efforts. This on-site role supports collateral recovery activities and requires travel to Ventura, CA. Schedule includes 8AM-5PM Mon-Wed and 9AM-6PM Thu-Fri on a rotating basis.

The successful candidate will have at least three years in collections, knowledge of FDCPA and FCRA, and proficiency with Word/Excel. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of related collections experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs delinquency control and collection activity for accounts 60+ days past due across portfolios.
• Handles repossessions and reinstatements of collateral and assists branch offices.
