Uber Freight is seeking a Collections Specialist II (Intermodal Transportation) in Chicago, IL with a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on customer account management, billing issue resolution, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate aging reports. The position is full-time and hourly, requiring at least 1 year of B2B collections experience.

The ideal candidate is organized, a strong communicator, and able to escalate issues when needed.

Qualificações

• Run and format daily queries using multiple company specific software/applications to show productivity increase/decrease on customer aging reports
• Create and provide account balance spreadsheet with specialized reporting parameters
• Liaison between assigned customers and internal departments to resolve billing issues and process conflicts
• Discuss invoice discrepancies/errors with billing and operations departments to form corrective action plans
• Ensure all work performed on customer’s accounts are notated daily and updated in financial system for management to review if needed
• Be a resource to Collections Specialists questions with processes, archived information locations, and applications

About the Role

The Collections Specialist II position is a key customer service and internal support role within Uber Freight. This is a full time, hourly, individual contributor position. Work schedule will be Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and w ill work at least 3 days per week in our Chicago office on 433 W Van Buren Street.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Customer account assignments: Medium to complex
• Run and format daily queries using multiple company specific software/applications to show productivity increase/decrease on customer aging reports
• Create and provide account balance spreadsheet with specialized reporting parameters
• Liaison between assigned customers and internal departments to resolve billing issues and process conflicts

Basic Qualifications
