Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of all properties acquired through foreclosure and other collection activities.
• Assist the Workout Officer in the collection activity of all branches of the organization.
• Communicate with Branch Manager, Assistant Manager, and staff involved in collections.
• Recommend foreclosure, repossession, charge off, and legal action when appropriate.
• Work with Loan Servicing to resolve discrepancies on loan balances and postings.
• Recommend loans for special attention or Watch List inclusion.
• Determine loans needing special collection efforts and assign responsibilities.
• Personally handle collection actions on assigned loans.
• Communicate with supervisor on potential loan losses.
• Review charged off loan files and suggest internal recovery efforts.
• Prepare and forward charged off loan files to legal counsel.
• Prepare and maintain the Repossession List.
• Assist in monthly delinquency, charge off, and troubled loan reports.
• Assist Workout Officer in communication with legal counsel on collection activity.
