Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Credit Associate on a temp-to-hire basis to support credit and collections for dealer accounts. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and experience in credit evaluation and accounts receivable.

You will review credit apps, manage collections, process invoices, and use DNB and ERP systems to maintain dealer profiles, ensuring accurate records and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Some college coursework or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum one year of experience in accounting, credit, or collections.
• Familiarity with credit evaluation and collection procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid math skills and ability to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Review and process credit applications using Dun and Bradstreet (DNB) to assess credit eligibility.
• Maintain relationships with dealers and sales representatives.
• Manage credit and collections for assigned accounts, including evaluating creditworthiness and recommending credit limits.
• Process invoices and orders for national accounts via Vendor Net.
• Advise on payment terms in line with department guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of communications and payment activity.
• Track delinquent accounts and prepare documentation for collections.
• Set up and update dealer customer profiles in ERP systems.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Assist in updating departmental procedures and manuals.
• Provide credit information to NACM as needed.
• Web order processing.
• Posting checks, wires, and cash.
• Lockbox and deposit handling.
• Credit references and invoice reissuance.
• Finance charge reporting.

This is a business-to-business (B2B) role ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a background in credit evaluation and accounts receivable.

Credit Associate – Temp-to-Hire

Department: Accounting

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay: $20 to $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities
