Job Opening: Collections Representative

We are currently seeking a Collections Representative to join our team at a financial company in West Valley City.

Responsibilities:

• Contact members with delinquent accounts via phone, mail, email, etc., and take appropriate actions to bring accounts current or arrange payment plans.
• Counsel members on debt and credit management.
• Analyze the financial situations of delinquent borrowers; take action to repossess collateral if necessary.
• Inform management of trends in loan underwriting that contribute to delinquency or charge-offs.
• Testify at legal proceedings as needed.
• Assist with bankruptcy hearings, small claims court, garnishments, repossessions, and foreclosures as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 2+ years of collections experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and initiative.
• Ability to motivate and influence others with diplomacy and trust.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.55/hr. Benefits may include:
