Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a collections paralegal.
• Direct experience handling legal collections matters.
• Experience with community association collections preferred.
• Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Responsibilities

• Manage community association collection matters from initial demand through resolution.
• Handle essential legal collection functions and processes.
• Assist with foreclosure-related matters and proceedings.
• Work on matters involving bankruptcy.
• Apply knowledge of FDCPA to collection activities.
• Prepare and maintain legal documents and case files.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of required tasks.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, opposing parties, and other involved parties.
• Provide excellent client service throughout the collection process.
• Manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Support attorneys with legal and administrative tasks as needed.
