Equity Property Management, LLC is seeking a full-time Collections Manager to oversee delinquent rent collections for multifamily properties across IN, IL and WI. The role reports to the Senior Vice President and requires solid administrative experience and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes collaboration with Property Managers, Accounting and Legal teams, while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and FCRA laws.

Formación

• 3+ years in accounts receivable or collections
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work with residents and coworkers at all levels
• Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable on a computer and with Excel
• Experience with the listed software is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Get information on overdue tenants from Property Managers and accounting system
• Maintain a tracking spreadsheet of overdue accounts and share with teams
• Call and email residents who are behind on rent
• Enter resident information into credit reporting software; keep records up to date
• Work with Property Managers to close out tenant accounts in the accounting system
• Advise on accounts to be written off as bad debt
• Continue collecting on overdue accounts via counseling, garnishment and legal means
• Direct part of an administrative assistant’s time to meet department goals
• Follow all applicable laws including Fair Housing and FCRA
